المملكة: Jeddah hosts insurance sector experts during the fifteenth annual meeting of the Aman Union

Leaders and experts of the insurance sector in the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will meet in Jeddah during the period from 4 to 6 November 2025, at the fifteenth annual meeting of the Aman Union, hosted by the Islamic Foundation To secure investment and export credit – Member of the Islamic Development Bank Group – headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaCommercial and developing partnerships and exploring new opportunities that contribute to regional economic integration.
Dr. Khaled Youssef Khalfallah, CEO of the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit, expressed his happiness at hosting this important event, stressing that it represents a qualitative platform To exchange experiences and visions between institutions and companies specialized in insurance and reinsurance in member states, including the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Daman).
He added that the meeting this year carries a special significance as it coincides with the fifteenth anniversary of the founding of the Union, which has become an important pillar in supporting innovation and cooperation to achieve economic integration in Arab and Islamic countries..
Developing services and building capabilities
For his part, Murad Al-Mizouri, Secretary General of the AMAN Union, explained that the General Secretariat has made a remarkable journey in developing its services and enhancing its institutional efficiency over fifteen years, by supporting members with practical solutions for capacity building, exchanging knowledge, and organizing specialized events, noting that next year will witness the General Secretariat’s transfer to the Saudi Export Bank. And imports, which constitutes a new stage of development and growth that enhances the Union’s role in supporting economic cooperation among its members"LTR">.
The event’s agenda includes keynote speeches and discussion sessions highlighting the most prominent developments in member institutions during the years 2024 and 2025, in addition to specialized meetings for the data committees, short-term export insurance, and structural financing, as well as the thirtieth meeting of the Executive Council.
The sessions will also discuss vital topics such as debt structuring, export credit, risk management, the role of artificial intelligence in the insurance industry, and the importance of credit information in reducing risks and maximizing commercial credit recoveries, in addition to providing a broad opportunity for participants to interact with industry leaders and explore innovative solutions to the challenges facing them.
