What happened against Qatar was a scandal and an injustice against our team

National team player Meloni expressed his deep sadness and extreme dissatisfaction after the last match, stressing that what happened was “a football scandal that is clear to everyone.”

Meloni published his statements on his official Instagram account, in which he said:
“I’m still very sad about what happened yesterday. There are things in football and in life that are beyond our control, but what happened this time went beyond all limits. Even those who do not understand football saw the injustice and scandal that took place.”

He added: “We have to fight harder for our rights, and we cannot allow one person or party to destroy the dream of an entire homeland. Football is no longer played only on the field, and what happened was an injustice to an entire people.”

Meloni concluded his post by saying: “We will not be silent, and we will continue to fight on the field for the sake of the Emirates and for our fans, who deserve the best.”
