Ambassador Amira Abdel Rahim, Egypt’s ambassador to Burundi, accompanied by the embassy staff and Captain Samir Adly, Managing Director, was keen to receive the delegation of the club’s first football team, headed by Dr. Mohamed Shawky, a member of the Board of Directors, at the bottom of the plane’s stairs upon its arrival at Bujumbura International Airport in Burundi, in preparation for the Aigle Noire team’s match in the Champions League. Africa.

 

Al-Ahly’s trip from takeoff on a private plane from Cairo Airport to Bujumbura International Airport in Burundi took approximately 6 hours. 

Al-Ahly had its final training session in Cairo yesterday, Wednesday, under the leadership of Yes Torop, the team’s coach, who after the training chose 24 players to travel to Burundi. They are:

Al-Ahly will meet Aigle Noir at 4:00 pm next Saturday, Cairo time, 3:00 Burundi time, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
