The Endowments launches major advocacy convoys to all governorates
The Ministry of Endowments continued its efforts to spread moderate, rational thought, correct misconceptions, and strengthen the system of religious and national values, as it launched today, Friday, October 17, 2025, a number of expanded advocacy convoys to various governorates of the Republic, as part of a comprehensive plan to expand field advocacy work and activate institutional partnerships with institutions. At the forefront of these efforts was the launch of a major preaching convoy to North Sinai Governorate, in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Egyptian Fatwa House, in which seven Al-Azhar scholars, ten endowment scholars, and three fatwa secretaries at the Fatwa House participated. The convoy traveled between the Wadi Al-Omar and Al-Qusayma regions, and included the performance of the Friday sermon. And a number of lessons and public meetings in support of the people of Sinai.
Two joint advocacy convoys between the Ministry of Endowments and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif also launched to the governorates of “Al-Buhaira and Qena”, in which an elite group of scholars from both sides participated, performed the Friday sermon, and participated in purposeful advocacy meetings that consolidate the concepts of belonging and spread awareness. Preaching convoys also headed to the border areas in the governorates of: “Red Sea, Matruh, New Valley, and South Sinai”, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to strengthen its advocacy and awareness presence in remote and border areas, and to reach its message to all segments of society.
The scholars participating in these convoys spoke with one voice on the topic of the Friday sermon, which was titled: “With that which is best,” stressing that this approach is the approach of the prophets and sincere preachers in calling to God with wisdom and beautiful preaching, and that arguing for the best embodies Islam’s tolerance and sophistication in dealing with others, and establishes the values of mercy. And tolerance and human coexistence, according to the Almighty’s saying: {Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best} [النحل: 125]It is a divine directive that calls for leniency and gentleness in preaching, and spreading values and morals in the best way.
As part of the awareness initiative “Correct Your Concepts,” the Ministry launched (26) a specific advocacy convoy for female preachers to (26) governorates, under the title: “Preserving public property and facilities and the sanctity of “Sabotage it.”
The convoys were preceded by Qur’anic reciters by the female preachers, followed by advocacy meetings that addressed the importance of consolidating the values of national belonging, preserving public money, and stating the prohibition of trespassing on or damaging public property, where the female preachers stressed that maintaining public property and facilities is a religious and patriotic duty that embodies the citizen’s awareness and sincere belonging. The Ministry of Endowments confirms that these simultaneous convoys embody its pioneering role in spreading moderate religious discourse, and express its full commitment to its responsibility in building a rational national awareness, and consolidating moral and educational values in all parts of the world.
