"Ambassador of Egypt" The Pakistani Minister of Marine Resources discusses opportunities for cooperation in the field of ports and maritime connectivity

The Ambassador met with Dr. Ihab Abdel Hamid, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with Mr. Muhammad Junaid, Minister of Marine Resources of Pakistan, within the framework of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and exploring new horizons for partnership in the fields of ports and maritime transport.

 

During the meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador reviewed the qualitative boom that Egypt is witnessing in the fields of maritime navigation and infrastructure. Infrastructure, pointing to the promising potential provided by the Suez Canal Economic Zone as a regional and international logistics center, and the pivotal role it plays in facilitating the movement of global trade. He also stressed the importance of taking advantage of Egypt’s strategic geographical location as a main gateway to access African and Arab markets.

 

 

 

For his part, the Pakistani Minister of Marine Resources expressed his appreciation for the level of bilateral relations between the two countries, and his country’s interest in strengthening the frameworks Joint cooperation with Egypt. He also expressed Pakistan’s aspiration to exchange visits and technical expertise with the Egyptian side, in a way that achieves mutual benefit in developing the ports and maritime services sector.

 

 

 

This meeting comes in the context of the keenness of the Egyptian and Pakistani sides to expand the horizons of joint cooperation and activate partnerships. The strategy between the two countries in various fields of common interest.
