Al Wasl had a strong start to the match, who almost opened the scoring early after a mistake by goalkeeper Ahmed Shembeh in the sixth minute.

The yellow team opened the scoring in the 26th minute through defender Adrillson Silva with a wonderful header that reached the roof of the goal after a perfect cross.
