The agreements included an agreement to supply the Yemeni government with the oil derivatives necessary to operate electricity stations in various governorates, in a step aimed at improving the level of services.

And increasing the hours of electricity operation, and reducing the burden on the Central Bank of Yemen in providing hard currency to purchase fuel from global markets, which reflects positively on improving living conditions and enhancing stability. Economic.

Supporting development and stability in Yemen

The memorandum of cooperation between the program and the Yemeni Ministry of Interior came to support the ministry’s efforts in building its technical and technical institutional capabilities, and transferring expertise with counterpart agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of institutional performance and developing the ministry’s infrastructure.

This cooperation confirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to Supporting the Republic of Yemen in various vital fields, contributing to building and developing Yemeni institutions, achieving economic stability, and improving the level of services provided to the Yemeni citizen, reflecting the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries, and an extension of the Kingdom’s pioneering role in supporting development and stability in Yemen.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen presented (265) development projects and initiatives in (8) basic sectors. And vital, namely: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, and developing and supporting the capabilities of the Yemeni government, and development programs, in the various Yemeni governorates.
