المملكة: Al-Khereiji arrives in Ghana and discusses bilateral relations with President Mahama


President John Dramani Mahama received the President of the Republic of Ghana, in the capital, Accra, yesterday evening, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Kuraiji, during his official visit.
At the beginning of the reception, Al-Kuraiji conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – to His Excellency and to the friendly Republic and people of Ghana, while His Excellency conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to His Highness the Crown Prince – who supported them. During the reception, the joint relations between the two friendly countries and peoples and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields were reviewed, in addition to discussing the most prominent developments on the regional and international arenas.
The reception was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Ghana, Sultan Al-Dakhil, and the Director General of the African Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saqr Al-Qurashi.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okode Zito Ablakwa, during His Excellency’s official visit to the capital, Accra.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries and the two friendly peoples in many different fields, and discussed developments on the regional and international arenas and the efforts made in this regard.
The Deputy Foreign Minister presided over And the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, the first round of the political consultations committee between the foreign ministries of the two friendly countries, during which he reviewed the aspects of political cooperation between the two countries, and discussed the intensification of multilateral cooperation on international issues of common interest.
After that, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ghana signed a general agreement for cooperation between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Ghana, which aims to develop joint cooperation in the economic fields, Investment, educational, and cultural.

Official visit
