Sharjah Sports participates in the Sportel Monaco 2025 exhibition

Sharjah, October 21 / WAM / The Sharjah Sports Channel, affiliated with the Sharjah Broadcasting and Television Authority, is participating in the activities of the Sportel 2025 exhibition and conference, which will be held during the period from 20 to 22 October this year at the “Grimaldi Forum” center in Monaco, with the participation of an elite group of international channels, sports networks, broadcasting and production companies, and providers of modern technology in the sports sector.

The Sharjah Sports Channel delegation includes Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi, director of the channel, and Abdul Rahim Al Hammadi, director of programs.

The channel’s participation in this global event comes within the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority’s strategy to enhance international cooperation in the field of sports media and keep pace with the latest technical developments in broadcasting tournaments and producing sports programs, in addition to building partnerships with broadcasting institutions and leading technology companies in the world.

Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi stressed that participation in Sportel 2025 represents an important opportunity to meet experts and specialists in the field of sports media and exchange expertise and experiences with the most prominent international institutions and networks because of the high professional and knowledge value it represents that contributes to the development of the work system.

In its new edition, Sportel will discuss the latest developments in the field of sports investment, with a focus on private equity funds and sovereign wealth funds in the field of technology. There will also be a session focusing on the latest live broadcast tools that create links between social media, television networks and OTT platforms, in addition to special sessions on building brands through data analysis, sponsorship, content created by athletes, and archival content.
