The Romanian ambassador to Cairo praises the efforts of President Sisi in making the peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh a success

Romanian Ambassador to Cairo, Ambassador Olivia Tudrin, praised the efforts of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Egyptian institutions in making the peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, organized by Egypt, a success, where a ceasefire agreement was signed in the Gaza Strip.
This came in a speech by the Ambassador, delivered this evening at the celebration of the Romanian Armed Forces Day, in the presence of a number of senior figures, ambassadors and diplomats accredited to Egypt.
She affirmed her country’s support for implementing an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the two-state solution, delivering humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza, and beginning reconstruction, explaining that her country is committed to peace and hopes to achieve it in the Black Sea region and stop the war in Ukraine.
She added that she participated yesterday in the Aswan Forum, where Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati stressed the importance of the foundations of peace and development. In Sudan and Somalia, indicating the commitment of both countries to raise relations to a higher level, in conjunction with the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Romania.
