The African Table Tennis Federation attacks Omar Asr after the Tunisia scandal
The African Table Tennis Federation expressed its dissatisfaction with the scene in which the Egyptian team appeared during its participation in the African Cup for Seniors in Tunisia.
This came during an official letter sent by the African Table Tennis Federation to the Egyptian Table Tennis Federation, which read as follows:

I am writing to express the dissatisfaction of the African Table Tennis Federation (ITTF-AFRICA) regarding the misconduct of the Egyptian team during the semi-finals of the African Championship – Tunisia 2025, between Egypt and Nigeria, on Sunday, October 19. 2025.
During the third match between Omar Asr and Taiwo Mate, where the Egyptian player Omar Asr interrupted the match while he was at the table to shout at the head of his delegation.
