John Edward, the sporting director of Zamalek Club, sent a long message to the fans of the White Castle, in which he affirmed his commitment to working and serving the club despite the challenges that the team is going through, stressing that belonging to Zamalek is not just a slogan, but a permanent commitment and giving.
Edward said in his statement:
"He who is honored to belong to Zamalek cannot stand still for a day. Except for you, and it only rises after every setback with your help.” Pointing out that the club is going through a delicate stage that requires everyone’s solidarity and not surrendering to any financial or administrative crises.
The sports director added that the primary goal is to preserve Zamalek’s dignity and history, stressing that he did not and will not escape from confrontation, and that the work will continue in a spirit of responsibility until the desired success is achieved.
He stressed. Edward stressed that success cannot be achieved except through cooperation between all elements of the system, saying:
“We will only achieve success together, and with teamwork that befits a great club like Zamalek.”
He concluded his message by emphasizing that the next stage will be decisive in the club’s journey, pledging to make every effort possible to restore its stability and luster, adding: "What makes us confident that we will survive is our belief that Zamalek will return stronger as ever."
