Unveiling the new identity of the Emirates Water Sports Federation

The General Swimming Association adopted the new identity of the federation under the official name “UAE Aquatics Federation,” in a step that reflects the great development and wide diversity of water sports in its various categories, and enhances the federation’s vision of unifying efforts and expanding the base of practitioners in swimming, diving, open water, and all other water activities.

The federation said in a statement today, Monday: “The new identity embodies the spirit of modernity and ambition that accompanies the process of sports development in the UAE, and reflects the country’s pioneering position in supporting sports and its interest in developing national cadres in various sports fields.”

This change comes as part of the federation’s move toward a new phase of institutional growth aimed at strengthening communication with the sports community and raising the level of participation in water sports, thus contributing to preparing a new generation of champions capable of representing the UAE in regional and international forums.
