The Minister of Defense witnesses the discussion of the main research of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Armed Forces
Lieutenant General Abdul Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the main research of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Armed Forces entitled “The Change in the Balance of Regional Powers in the Middle East Region in Light of International and Regional Changes and Their Impact on Egyptian National Security,” in the presence of Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and Cooperation. The ceremony began with a speech by Major General A.H. Sherif Fikry, head of the Military Intelligence Authority, during which he referred to the main role played by the Center for Strategic Studies of the Armed Forces in studying and analyzing the continuous development of wars and contemporary events, enabling the armed forces to develop their capabilities to protect the pillars of national security, stressing that the subject of the research comes within the framework of achieving benefit from all variables. witnessed in the regional and international arenas.
A group of strategic experts and researchers in the field of strategic and political studies participated in preparing the research, and the research ended by presenting a number of recommendations and proposed scenarios for dealing with international and regional transformations in the region to achieve the national security requirements of the Egyptian state, and it concluded by responding to the inquiries and questions of the attendees.
At the end of the research, Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the attendees, praising the subject of the research and the effort expended on it.
