On October 20, the Iraqi authorities banned the Roblox platform. Because it contains sexual connotations, profanity, and abuse, as well as exposing children and teenagers to electronic blackmail attempts, according to an official statement.

According to the statement, the game includes a number of security, social and behavioral risks, including allowing direct communication between users in a way that exposes children and teenagers to attempts at exploitation or electronic blackmail, and some of the game’s content contains scenes and behaviors that are inconsistent with Iraqi societal values ​​and traditions.
