Dar Al-Iftaa scholars deliver Friday sermons and hold fatwa councils in a number of mosques in North Sinai

The Egyptian Fatwa House continued its active participation in the joint preaching convoys to North Sinai Governorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to spread true religion and consolidate moderate thought, which is organized in cooperation between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Ministry of Endowments, and the Egyptian Fatwa House, as part of a joint plan to spread religious awareness and confront extremist thought.

The caravan activities began this week touring a number of North Sinai mosques, including the Sheikh’s areas. Zuwayed, Al-Joura and Rafah, in addition to a number of mosques in the Al-Qasimah Center, where the members of the convoy presented a group of preaching lessons and seminars and visited the Sinai Museum in the Al-Masa’id area in Al-Arish, in addition to delivering unified Friday sermons bearing the title: “We did not reveal the Qur’an to you so that you should be miserable.” And “decent dealing with tourists.”

 

The convoy was received by Sheikh Mahmoud Marzouk, Director of the North Sinai Endowments Directorate, where Dar Al-Iftaa participated in the convoy with a number of scholars and fatwa secretaries, where Sheikh Ahmed Wissam Abbas Khadr, Fatwa Secretary of Dar Al-Iftaa, presented the Friday sermon at Al-Rahman Mosque in Wadi Al-Omar in the area. The coupon, while Sheikh Ahmed Abdel Halim Muhammad Ismail, Secretary of Fatwa at the Fatwa House, delivered the Friday sermon at the Awlad Ali Mosque in Al-Maghadba, and Sheikh Mustafa Hussein Kamel Noubi, the legal researcher at the Fatwa House, delivered the Friday sermon at the Amr bin Al-Aas Mosque in Wadi Al-Omar in the coupon.

 

The scholars of the Fatwa House confirmed, during the Friday sermons, that the Holy Qur’an is the source of happiness. And tranquility in human life, and that it was sent down to be a mercy to the worlds, not a means of strictness or difficulty, explaining that the correct understanding of its verses calls for moderation, ease, and the rejection of extremism and extremism, and that the correct Quranic approach transforms adversity into blessings, and plants tranquility and hope in souls.

 

In the second sermon, which was titled “Appropriate Dealing with Tourists,” he stressed The participants stressed that treating tourists well and honoring them is a value of faith and authentic civilized behavior that reflects the tolerance of Islam and its humanitarian message, stressing that a true Muslim is one who deals well with others in morals and behavior, and that good behavior represents a silent advocacy message that expresses the truth of Islam and the advancement of its civilization.

 

Dar Al-Iftaa’s participation in these convoys comes within an expanded plan that it is implementing across the Republic, in coordination with institutions. The religious state, to correct misconceptions, spread rational religious awareness, and affirm the message of Islam in building humanity and achieving societal peace.
