Shock in Zamalek.. Bezerra leaves the field injured and bursts into tears (video)
The match between Zamalek and Talaea El Gaish, in the 13th round of the Egyptian Premier League, witnessed a poignant moment after Juan Bezerra, the white team player, went off injured. He could not control himself from the intensity of pain and sadness, and his tears flowed while he was sitting on the bench.
Bezerra had suffered a severe injury during the first half of the match, and the technical staff was forced to replace him after a quick medical examination from the assistant staff, so he left the field in the middle of the match. Zamalek fans applauded in support of him.
After his exit, the player’s face was clearly affected, as he could not hold back his tears, in a scene that reflects the extent of his attachment to the team and his desire to continue participating in the match. Watch the video
Bezera is scheduled to undergo medical examinations in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury and the expected duration of his absence from the stadiums, amid clear concern within the technical staff about the loss of one of the important elements in Zamalek’s formation during the coming period.
