The Governor of Giza witnesses the laying of the foundation stone for the Al-Mansour Automotive Group factory
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, witnessed the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Al-Mansour Automotive Group factory project “MAC for Manufacturing Means of Transportation” In 6th of October City, next to the dry port, in the presence of Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, Mohamed Lotfy Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mansour Automotive Group, and a number of the group’s leaders, along with representatives of industrial and investment bodies.
The Governor of Giza stressed that the project represents an important strategic step towards achieving a qualitative shift in the national industry, and strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional center for the automobile and transportation industry in the region, noting that this project comes In line with the state’s directions to support the localization of major industries with high added value, which contributes to achieving sustainable industrial development.
The governor added that the project comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to deepen local manufacturing and increase the Egyptian component in the vehicle industry, in implementation of the vision of the political leadership led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, which aims to expand strategic industries and attract more qualitative investments.
Engineer Adel El-Naggar explained that Giza Governorate is sparing no effort in creating a supportive and stimulating investment climate for investors, and is working to overcome obstacles to the implementation of industrial projects, believing in the role of the private sector as a major partner in achieving comprehensive economic development and localizing industry. National.
During his speech, the governor expressed his appreciation for the Al-Mansour Group and its national role in supporting the Egyptian economy through its various investments, praising the group’s keenness to expand in the areas of local manufacturing in keeping with the latest global technological developments in the automobile industry and means of transportation.
The Governor of Giza concluded his tour by emphasizing that the governorate will always remain an attractive environment for industrial investment due to its distinguished components in terms of geographical location and services.
