Sweihan Mazayna at Al Dhafra Festival honors the supporting parties
Sweihan, 3 November / WAM / The organizing committee of the nineteenth session of Al Dhafra Festival honored the partners of the first station, “Mazayna Sweihan”, for their support and efforts made in achieving the goals of the festival, and their effective contributions to the success of the first station, which was held during the period from October 27 to November 3 of this month.
His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, handed over commemorative shields to representatives of the supporting and sponsoring bodies, and also crowned the winners of the camel auction in 12 rounds designated for yearlings, in the presence of a number of officials, senior camel owners, lovers of heritage auctions, and visitors to the auction from the Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
In the annual age competitions, the results in a round around Their Highnesses the Sheikhs – Local, resulted in first place going to “Bint Makida” owned by Sheikh Sultan bin Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and in second place went to “Jinar” owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and third place went to “Nawader” owned by Sheikh Sultan bin Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and in fourth place was “Masiha” owned by Sheikh Sultan bin Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Sheikh Sultan bin Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and “Al Maidiya” came fifth, owned by Sheikh Sultan bin Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The first place went in a race around a hill for the tribesmen 1 – Majahim “Al-Zaeema” for its owner Zayed Mohammed Qaran Rashid Al Mansouri. For tribal people (1) – local.
In the race around Sharaya for Tribesmen (2) – Majahim, it won first place: “Daghibi” for its owner, Mohammed Saleh Mejren Al Ameri, and in the race around Sharaya for Tribesmen (2) – Local, it deserved first place: “The Legend” for its owner, Rashid Ali Sayyah Al Mansouri, and in the race around Partners – Majahim, it won first place, “Matiba” for its owner, Khalifa Maktoum Rashid Hafeez Al Mazrouei, and occupied “Al Hanouf”. Its owner, Muhammad Thalab Hamad Al-Hajri, won first place in a round about the partners – sweeteners, and “The Line”, owned by Theeb Muhammad Misfer Al Saad Al-Qahtani, achieved first place in a round about authentic hybrids.
