Shabab Al-Ahly shocks its fans in “Asia”

Shabab Al-Ahly Dubai suffered an unexpected loss against Al-Duhail of Qatar, 1-4, today, Monday, in Doha, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025 competitions.

With this result, Al-Duhail achieved its first victory in the tournament, raising its score to 4 points, while Shabab Al-Ahly suffered its first loss after three matches without defeat, leaving it with 7 points in its score.

Edmilson Jr. opened the scoring for Al Duhail in the 2nd minute, and Benjamin Burrjaid added the second goal in the 39th minute, before Cascardo reduced the gap for the “Dubai Knights” with a powerful shot in the 42nd minute.

In the second half, Adel Boulbena expanded the score by adding the third goal in the 57th minute, while Luis Alberto completed the quadruple in the 92nd minute.

Shabab Al-Ahly was unable to return to the match despite its attempts to reduce the score in the second half, as coach Paulo Sousa pushed a number of offensive cards without the team succeeding in returning to the match.
