It is the most prominent event in Saudi Arabia to honor pioneers, enhancing its culture and enabling its sustainable impact on society.
National Award for Volunteer Work
The award ceremony will be held on the evening of Friday, December 5, 2025 AD, coinciding with International Volunteer Day, as part of the work of the International Non-Profit Sector Forum scheduled to be held in Riyadh during the period from 3 to 5 December 2025 AD.
The Center explained that the National Award for Volunteer Work includes four main tracks, including: the track of individual volunteers to honor people with Documented and influential volunteer contributions, and the path of volunteer initiatives for projects with measurable impact and sustainable expansion.
It also includes the path of governmental, non-profit and private agencies that have enabled volunteer work and raised its institutional efficiency, and the appreciation path for exceptional national contributions extended to spreading the culture of volunteerism and enhancing its sustainability.
Volunteering in Saudi Arabia
He stated that the award aims to motivate individuals and entities to activate and improve volunteer work, and highlight Inspiring national models in this field.
In addition to enhancing integration and exchange of experiences between various actors in the sector, which contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 of reaching one million volunteers annually.
International Volunteer Day
The awards ceremony will be held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi.
The winners will be honored during the ceremony. The program of activities for the International Volunteer Day, in addition to dialogue sessions, workshops, working papers, and an accompanying exhibition with the participation of a number of governmental, non-profit and private agencies.
The Center called on all those interested in volunteer work, including individuals, entities and initiatives, to participate and register via the award’s website.
