Al-Sharjah defeats Al-Arabi of Qatar in “West Asia” for the basket

The basketball team of the Sharjah Club achieved a well-deserved victory over its guest, Al Arabi Qatar, by two points, with a score of (91-89), in a match between them today, Tuesday, at the Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Hall, in Dubai, for the second round in the first group competitions, in the “Super West – Asia” League for the Gulf region.
Al-Sharjah succeeded in achieving its victory over Al-Arabi, with its players gaining the advantage in the results of the first and second quarters (24-21 and 28-23), while Al-Arabi was unable to return with the result of the match despite its players gaining the advantage in the results of the third and fourth quarters (18-14 and 27-25).
Sharjah entered as a partner at the top of the group’s teams, after being equal with three points in the event of a win and a similar loss with each of Al-Arabi of Qatar, Al-Kuwait of Kuwait, and Al-Ula of Saudi Arabia, especially since “The King” lost its first match last October 14 to Al-Ula (74-108), in a round that recorded Al-Arabi’s victory over Kuwait (83-78), before Al-Ula lost in the opening of the second round to Kuwait (78-83).
