Urgent.. The Speaker of the House of Representatives receives the President of the Kyrgyz Republic

Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, received at the Council’s headquarters today Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the delegation accompanying him.

At the beginning of the meeting, Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, expressed his welcome to the historic visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, stressing the historical friendly relations that unite the two countries and which are based on mutual friendliness and respect, and expressing his appreciation for the current momentum of bilateral relations between the two countries, which represents A solid foundation for building a stronger partnership in the future. During the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives reviewed the Egyptian parliamentary history of more than 150 years, stressing the need to strengthen parliamentary cooperation between the two chambers, which leads to a deeper dialogue between the peoples of the two friendly countries.

Chancellor Dr. Hanafi Gebali also reviewed the unprecedented boom that Egypt is witnessing in the field of industrial and investment infrastructure, stressing the need to strengthen investment relations between the two countries, especially in the field of industrial investment, transportation, and digital technology. The representatives played the pioneering role played by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in combating extremist thought and attempts to link it to the Islamic religion, praising the distinguished historical, cultural and religious relations that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif has with Kyrgyzstan, as Al-Azhar always welcomes Kyrgyz students to study in its ancient institutes and university.

For his part, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic stressed his great pride in visiting Egypt as a great and sister country and the gateway to the African continent, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic presented Congratulations on the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which confirmed his country’s pride in it being the largest museum in the world. The President of the Kyrgyz Republic also expressed his agreement on the necessity of developing bilateral relations in all fields in view of the promising prospects for cooperation between the two countries, stressing the need to strengthen parliamentary relations by establishing a Parliamentary Friendship Association between the two countries.
