The Federation of Volleyball announces the list of Pharaohs in preparation for the Challenge Championship in Jordan

The Egyptian Volleyball Federation, headed by Engineer Yasser Qamar, sent official letters to a group of international players nominated to represent Egypt’s first national team in the first Challenge Championship, hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the period from November 26 to December 8, 2025, with the participation of eight countries: Egypt – Jordan – Tunisia – Kuwait – Bahrain – Iraq – Libya – Palestine.

 

The list of players who were officially called to join the national team camp includes:

 

Abdullah Abdel Salam and Ahmed Saeed (Al-Suwaihli Al-Libi),

 

Hamza Al-Safi (Shabab Al-Ahly of the Emirates), Ahmed Diaa (Kravina Club). Serbian).

 

The list also included Al-Ahly stars: Hossam Youssef, Saif Hassan Abed, Abdel-Rahman Al-Husseini, Mohamed Asran, Ziad Osama, Abdel-Rahman Seoudi, Ahmed Gharib, Mustafa Jaber, Mohamed Ramadan, Mohamed Abdel Mohsen, in addition to Omar Akram, the Petrojet player.

 

And from Zamalek: Mohamed Reda, Yassin Mohamed, Ashraf Al-Laqani, Ibrahim Adel, Abdul Rahman Al-Shahat, Abu Al-Saud Al-Sayed, and Muhammad Adel.

 

 

The Federation assigned the technical leadership task to Muhammad Al-Laqani as technical director, assisted by Muhammad Al-Hassan and Muhammad Refaat as assistants, in addition to the medical and administrative staff that includes:

 

Dr. Ihab Tantawi (treatment Natural), Dr. Abdel Rahman Ghoneim (rehabilitation), Dr. Ahmed Salem (load planner), Mustafa Abu Khadra (technical analyst), and Mohamed Ramadan and Mohamed Khair (administrators).

 

 

The Federation’s Board of Directors decided to organize the men’s national team in a closed training camp in the covered hall of the Arab Contractors Club, starting next Saturday, to prepare all international elements before the start of the tournament. The tournament.

 

 

The Board of Directors stressed the need for international players to commit and not apologize for participating, stressing that the tournament is on the agenda of the International Federation and awards important points in the world rankings, while threatening strict penalties against any player who fails to join without an acceptable excuse.

 

 

The Federation also stressed its keenness to benefit from the distinguished elements. In the youth team that recently won the African Championship, as part of the Council’s policy to pump new blood into the ranks of the first team.

 

 

The Council assigned the medical staff headed by Dr. Magdy Al-Sabbagh to follow up on the physical condition of all players, especially after some of them suffered from stress and injuries during the World Championship in the Philippines, in order to ensure full readiness before the start of the international camp next Saturday.
