Bezerra’s position on playing the Super Final against Al-Ahly
Zamalek fans are awaiting Juan Bezerra’s final position on participating in the Egyptian Super Cup final, scheduled to be held next Sunday, after he suffered an injury in the team’s match against Talaea El Gaish in the league and was absent from facing Pyramids in the semi-final.
Abdel Nasser Mohamed, director of football at Zamalek Club, said that the players Juan Bezerra and Mohamed Sobhi will be on the team’s roster in the final, indicating that Bezerra’s participation still has an aspect. It is an adventure, especially since he recently started returning to training.
He explained that the technical staff is waiting for the player to undergo an ultrasound examination to accurately determine his medical situation, and to know whether he can be relied upon in the match or not, stressing that the decision will be according to the evaluation of the medical staff.
Zamalek had reserved its place in the Super Final after beating Pyramids on penalties, to meet its rival Al-Ahly in an expected title match next Sunday.
