The first day of Egyptian voting in Jordan ends with elections "Representatives"

The voting process for members of the Egyptian community on the first day of the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections ended this evening, Friday, Jordan time. The Egyptian Embassy in Amman announced today an extension of the voting period in its electoral committees due to the heavy turnout of voters and the increase in the number of voters before the polls close, in order to ensure that all citizens within the committee campus have the opportunity to cast their votes, which witnessed noticeable crowding during the last hours of the election day. The first day of the first phase of the House of Representatives elections abroad witnessed regular voting at the Egyptian Embassy in Jordan and the Consulate in Aqaba. Voters flocked in large numbers throughout the day and cast their votes with complete ease. Once the ballot boxes were closed, they were kept in a secure headquarters at the Electoral Commission at the embassy, in accordance with the procedures specified by the National Elections Authority. The voting process began at nine in the morning today for members of the Egyptian community on the first day of Egyptians voting abroad in the 2025 House of Representatives elections. This is at the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in Amman.
The first phase of the House of Representatives elections will be held for Egyptians abroad in 14 governorates, including Giza, Alexandria, Fayoum, Minya, Assiut, Qena, and Luxor, on Friday and Saturday (November 7 and 8), while elections will be held internally on the 10 and 11. November, with the official results being announced on November 18th.
