Trump names a stadium in Washington after him

Media reports said that US President Donald Trump wants the new stadium for the Washington Commanders football team to bear his name, in a step added to a series of projects bearing the Trump brand.

Site said The Touchline Trump wants the new $3.7 billion stadium in Washington, D.C., to be named after him.

He stated that the White House commented on the matter by saying: “It would be a great idea.”

According to the same source, the project relates to the construction of a modern covered stadium on the site currently occupied by Robert Kennedy Stadium on the eastern side of Washington, DC.

He added: “It is planned to build a new domed stadium in Washington, D.C., at an estimated cost of about $3.7 billion, to be the main stadium for the Washington Commanders club competing in the American Football League. The stadium is expected to accommodate about 65,000 spectators when it is expected to open in 2030.”

For her part, White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt told the network:ESPN“That would be a great name, because it was President Trump who made the construction of the new stadium possible.”
