"Federal National" Participates in the International Conference of Speakers of Parliaments in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, 10 November / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, and the accompanying Council delegation, participate in the work of the International Conference of Speakers of Parliaments, which is organized by the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on November 11 and 12, 2025 in the capital, Islamabad, under the slogan “Peace, Security and Development” with the participation of about 34 parliaments.
The delegation participating in the conference includes His Excellency Muhammad Issa Al-Kashf, and His Excellency Ahmed Mir Hashem Khoury, members of the Federal National Council.
The conference discusses the challenges of regional and international security, sustainable development, the role of parliaments in supporting security, enhancing international cooperation to confront tensions and conflicts, and legislative and oversight mechanisms to support good governance, in addition to combating terrorism, promoting social justice, and protecting human rights.
