المملكة: "Ways".. A commemorative postage stamp marking 50 years of relations between the Kingdom and Sri Lanka


Issued Saudi Post Corporation "Ways"In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a commemorative postage stamp of (3) riyals was issued, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, which was officially launched in 1974 AD, and is characterized by growing cooperation in the fields of economy, labor, trade, and tourism, in addition to joint efforts in the humanitarian and development aspects.

Highlights The commemorative stamp is a symbol that reflects the cultural identity of both countries, and embodies the depth of the historical ties between the two peoples, reflecting the existing spirit of friendship and partnership, and contributes to highlighting milestones in the course of bilateral relations over the past decades.

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, during his reception at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh yesterday, handed over to His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Vijitha Herath, A copy of the commemorative postage stamp.
