Liverpool is planning to sign Serge Gnabry on a free transfer next summer

English reports revealed today, Wednesday, that Liverpool are interested in including the German international and Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry, seeking to sign him on a free transfer, at the end of his contract next summer.

Cut Offside reported that Gnabry was close to leaving the Bavarian club on several occasions before renewing his contract the last time due to his importance to the Bavarian team’s roster, as the player scored 4 goals this season and provided 4 assists. In 14 matches in all competitions.

According to the English website, the Reds are counting on Gnabry to support the offensive line due to the player’s great experience, offensive capabilities and diversity in play. Therefore, he receives great interest from the English club in order to improve their attack by the end of the season in a free transfer deal at the end of his contract next June.

Reports revealed last October that Bayern Munich had reached an agreement to extend Gnabry’s contract for the next two seasons, as Sky reported. German Sport reported that the international winger agreed to sign a new contract during next January, noting that Gnabry agreed to the step of reducing his salary in order to complete the extension of his contract.
