Egyptian Shooting Federation: The championship is entering its hottest stages and Egypt is proving its global organizational capacity
The World Shooting Championship, held in the fields of the Egypt International Olympic Games City in the New Capital, continues on its eighth day, amid an atmosphere full of excitement and enthusiasm as the competitions enter their most powerful and decisive stages between the participating world champions and champions from various continents.
Today, Thursday, November 13, witnessed a series of events and intense technical training, as the women’s 25-meter pistol competition began, which witnesses high technical levels and competitive performance. An exciting event that reflects the development of women’s shooting globally. Today, 50-meter rifle training for men and women is taking place, in addition to informal 300-meter rifle training, in preparation for the start of the final competitions scheduled during the coming days, which shooting enthusiasts around the world are waiting for.
The Egyptian Shooting Federation, headed by Hazem Hosni, confirmed that the activities of the eighth day were characterized by high-level technical and organizational discipline, amid widespread praise from Representatives of the International Federation and the participating delegations, pointing out that the tournament represents an honorable model of Egypt’s leadership in organizing and hosting world championships.
The Federation added in its daily statement that the atmosphere in the new capital reflects an honorable, civilized image before the world, whether in terms of the quality of the fields, logistical organization, or full support from state institutions to make this global event a success.
The championship competitions will continue until This November 18, with the participation of an elite group of world champions seeking to ascend to the podium in one of the strongest editions of the World Shooting Championship ever.
