The end of the first phase of "Specialized translation" At the National Press Authority

The National Press Authority concluded this evening, Thursday, the first introductory stage of the “Specialized Translation” course. Which is organized by the Authority in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, for journalists working in national press institutions, with the second phase starting in the middle of next week and concerned with economic translation.
40 journalists working in the translation and foreign affairs departments of national institutions are participating in the course, and a number of senior specialists in the field of translation from English to Arabic are lecturing, including Dr. Shukri Mujahid, Professor of Comparative English Literature at Ain Shams University, Head of the National Center for Translation. Previously, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shimi, Dr. Mahmoud Kamel, and Dr. Ahmed Shukry.
The course, which lasts 6 consecutive weeks, aims to develop the professional capabilities of the participants in the field of specialized translation, specifically in the fields of politics, economics, art, science, and sports, and ends with a practical application that includes translation of some topics related to the field of the course in which all trainees participate.
