"Petroleum Syndicate": Direct communication with employees to explain the new labor law legislation

Accountant Abbas Saber, President of the General Union of Petroleum Workers, participated in the educational symposium organized by Modern Gas Company on the new labor law, within the framework of joint cooperation between the company and the General Union to raise legal awareness for workers in the petroleum sector.
A delegation from the leaders of the General Union participated in the visit, which included: Accountant Ahmed Al-Sarouji, Secretary-General of the General Union, Mahmoud Moussa, Secretary-General of the General Fund, and accountant Ashraf Al-Mahrouqi, First Vice President. Accountant Abbas Saber confirmed during his speech that the union pays great attention to the legal awareness of workers, noting that the new labor law represents a qualitative shift in the relationship between the worker and his employer. Work.
He explained that the law came as a gift from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the workers of Egypt, in appreciation of their national role. He also praised the efforts made by the Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, in preparing the law and approving it through a comprehensive community dialogue.
In the context of his speech, the accountant Abbas Saber praised the great role played by Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum. And his clear keenness to implement the law within the sector’s companies, stressing that his recent directives to implement the minimum wage are an essential step in supporting the rights of workers, especially contractor workers who were in dire need of this decision.

The engineer welcomed Wael Jawaid, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Modern Gas Company, visited the union delegation, stressing that the company is keen to support everything that serves workers and enhances their knowledge of the laws regulating labor relations. Work.
Accountant Ahmed Al-Sarouji explained that the General Union is constantly working to raise the level of legal awareness among workers, stressing the importance of direct communication with them and explaining the new legislation in a simple and clear manner.
