The Minister of Health inspects the “Smart Health Gate” exhibition and the human development pavilion
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, inspected the digital transformation exhibition “Smart Health Gate” And the Pavilion of the Ministerial Group for Human Development, within the activities of the second day of the third edition of the World Conference on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC’25). Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, said that the exhibition embodies the citizen’s complete journey within the health system from booking to follow-up and treatment, which constitutes a live experience of digital transformation.
The Minister’s tour of “Smart Health Gate”
The tour began by watching an introductory film about the national strategy for digital transformation, then the Minister moved to a simulation model of a health unit in the primary care ward, and followed the implementation map in 3 stages via the electronic data platform and the interoperability corner. To integrate systems, and the quality and accreditation area to measure health justice, and concluded with an inspection of an advanced robot for manufacturing teeth.
The Minister praised the efforts of the organizers, stressing that the exhibition achieves reducing redundancy in examinations, saving costs, facilitating access to the health file, and accurate follow-up of chronic diseases within a unified system.
The exhibition extends over 6,400 square meters, and includes 79 participating parties: 61 from the private sector (19 medicines, 14 technologies, 8 medical devices, Hospitals, banks), 18 government agencies and civil society organizations.
It constitutes a pioneering platform for displaying innovations and opens partnerships in technology, communications, devices, medicine, supply chains, finance, and development.
The Minister moved to the pavilion of the ministerial group, where he was briefed on human development activities and programs, and praised the efforts of the participants in promoting this vital file.
