The Minister of Planning confirms the depth and strength of Egyptian-Saudi relations and the historical ties between the two countries

Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, appreciated the depth of the strategic relations between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that the historical ties between the two brotherly peoples represent a strong basis for enhancing joint cooperation. 

 

This came during the Minister’s meeting today with Engineer Sobhi Batterjee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi German Hospitals Group; To discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation, within the activities of the World Conference on Health, Population and Human Development organized by the Ministry of Health and Population in Egypt.

The Minister explained that these distinguished relations are clearly reflected in the volume of investments and trade exchange between the two countries, and in the keenness of both sides to expand development partnerships in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples and supports the process of sustainable development in the region.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi German Hospitals Group expressed his deep appreciation for Egypt, stressing that what the country is witnessing Stability and security are an essential foundation for attracting investments and implementing future expansions. 

He praised the great efforts led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to maintain security and stability in the region, and to move forward with development efforts in sisterly Egypt.

Representatives of the Saudi German Group stressed that the comprehensive development boom Egypt has achieved since 2014 reflects a clear strategic vision and a real will to advance the path of sustainable development.
