(Islamic Research) organizes an educational symposium on “The validity of belief and the validity of work”

The Islamic Research Academy, in cooperation with the College of Islamic and Arab Studies for Boys in Cairo, organized an educational symposium entitled: “The Health of Doctrine and the Health of Action,” within the framework of the directives of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to intensify awareness efforts and deepen students’ awareness of issues of faith and professional behavior, and to link Sharia knowledge to practical ethics in the life of a Muslim.

The symposium was sponsored by each From  Dr. Salama Gomaa Dawoud, President of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Mohamed El Gendy, Secretary General of the Islamic Research Academy, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Ramadan Hassan, Dean of the College.

Participated in the symposium were: Dr. Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, former Minister of Endowments and member of the Islamic Research Academy, Dr. Al Shahat El Gendy, member of the Islamic Research Academy, and Dr. Ramadan Hassan, Dean of the College.

He presented The speakers discussed scientific and intellectual visions that addressed the importance of purity of belief as a basis for behavioral commitment, stressing that the soundness of faith is what leads a Muslim to mastery in his work, and the representation of Islamic morals in various fields of life, and that this concept represents an extension of Al-Azhar’s approach in combining religious knowledge and good deeds as one indivisible system.

The participants’ speeches touched on the vital role played by Al-Azhar University and the Islamic Research Academy in confronting misconceptions targeting young people, pointing out that character building A healthy Al-Azhar begins with understanding the doctrine on sound foundations, then translating this understanding into practical behavior and a way of life that appears in the performance of duties, mastery of work, respect for time, and commitment to academic and professional honesty.

The speakers also discussed the impact of religious values in supporting the production system, and the role of youth in spreading moderate understanding and conveying Al-Azhar’s message in society, stressing that the symposium comes at a time when intellectual and behavioral challenges are increasing, which requires strengthening direct communication with students and providing platforms for constructive dialogue that deepens Their understanding of the legal constants helps them confront suspicions with scientific argument and a sober approach.

The participants stressed the necessity of continuing such meetings, which represent a bridge between Al-Azhar’s students and scholars, and contribute to preparing a conscious generation capable of carrying Al-Azhar’s moderate message at home and abroad.

The symposium witnessed a remarkable interaction from the college’s students, who asked various questions that reflect their awareness and interest in understanding the relationship between belief and behavior. Practical.
