Urgent| On penalties…the Egyptian national team wins third place in the Al Ain Championship
Egypt’s first national football team, under the leadership of technical director Hossam Hassan, won third place in the Al Ain International Friendly Tournament held in the UAE by defeating Cape Verde 2-0 on penalty kicks after regular time ended in a 1-1 draw.
The penalty shootout witnessed the brilliance of substitute goalkeeper Mustafa Schubert, who saved two kicks and scored for our team Hossam Abdel Majeed and Mohamed Hamdy, and missed Omar Marmoush and Osama Faisal.
The time ended. The original match from the Egyptian national team’s first match against Cape Verde, in a positive draw with a goal to the same… The first goal was scored in the 7th minute and was scored by Rodriguez from a penalty kick that Mohamed Hani and Adel Omar Marmoush caused by scoring a special goal in the 57th minute.
