Announcing the lists of nominees and opening voting for the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai

The organizing committee of the Globe Soccer Awards announced the opening of voting for fans to choose the nominees for the sixteenth edition of the awards, the ceremony of which is scheduled to be held on December 28 at the Atlantis The Royal Hotel in Dubai.
The current version includes about 15 categories, including 9 categories available for public voting until November 27 to choose the final lists, with the second round of voting starting from December 3 to 11 to determine the winners, according to the results of the public vote and the opinions of the jury, which includes an elite group of the most prominent international football stars, including Marcelo Lippi, Francesco Totti, Iker Casillas, and Luis Figo.
Categories available for voting include Best Player, Best Female Player, Best Men’s Club, Best Women’s Club, Best Coach, Best Midfielder, Best Striker, Best Rising Player and Best Middle East Player.
Paris Saint-Germain is the club most present on the list of candidates, after a distinguished season that culminated in winning the Champions League, the European Super Cup, the French League and the French Cup.
The best player list includes 8 of its players who won the Champions League title, in addition to a number of its stars competing for the awards for best midfielder, best striker, and best emerging player.
The best player list includes 25 names from the world’s most prominent stars, including Vinicius Junior, winner of last year’s award, Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane, and Mohamed Salah.
In the women’s category, Barcelona’s Spanish player Aitana Bonmatti aspires to win the Best Player award for the third year in a row, among a list of 25 players, including her teammates in Barcelona and five players from the England national team, champions of Euro 2025.
Arsenal, the champion of the Women’s Champions League, is competing with 6 other clubs for the Best Women’s Club award, while the Best Men’s Club category includes several teams, including Paris Saint-Germain, Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Napoli, Flamengo, and Pyramids.
The list of best coach also includes prominent names, including Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Arne Sloat (Liverpool), Antonio Conte (Napoli), Vincent Kompany (Bayern Munich), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), Roberto Martinez (Portugal), Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), and Eddie Howe (Newcastle United).
For the Best Player in the Middle East award, Cristiano Ronaldo competes with Salem Al-Dosari, Karim Benzema, Roberto Firmino, N’Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez and Ivan Toni.
Tommaso Bindoni, Founder and CEO of Globe Soccer, expressed his happiness at Dubai hosting the event for the 16th year, stressing that the city has established itself as a global platform to host the most prominent sporting events. He pointed out that this year’s edition will witness a new tribute to the best football stars.
In conjunction with the Globe Soccer Awards, the Spanish League (LaLiga) will honor the winners of the awards for the 2024-2025 season, where Rafinha was chosen as the best player, Hansi Flick was chosen as the best coach, and Lamine Yamal was chosen as the best emerging player, in addition to Luka Socic being crowned with the award for best goal, and Jan Oblak with the award for best save.
