"The pinnacle of knowledge": Youth and artificial intelligence are pillars "Collective progress"

DUBAI, 19 November / WAM / International officials and experts agreed during the “Knowledge…the Pulse of Collective Progress” session, which was held within the activities of the tenth session of the “Knowledge Summit 2025” in Dubai, that young people and innovators constitute the true essence of the present and the basic foundation of tomorrow’s industry, stressing that building sustainable knowledge societies is not complete without the active presence of the younger generations and enabling them to participate in decision-making and policy-making.

Participants stressed that conscious planning for the future requires strong governance and effective partnerships that place people and the environment at the heart of development processes.

Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), revealed that the organization has put youth at the heart of its operational strategy in practice, as those under the age of 35 currently constitute about 48 percent of its workforce, with a strategic direction to raise this percentage to 60 percent, stressing that direct involvement of youth in policy formulation is a basic condition to ensure successful and sustainable planning, and that achieving development requires real empowerment of youth and women.

For his part, His Excellency Timur Suleimanov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented an applied perspective on human resources management, and stressed that the basis of teamwork begins with having a common vision that determines how to use knowledge. He reviewed his country’s experience in transforming from the stage of “brain drain” to “brain acquisition” through effective strategies for communicating with talented people globally and developing human capital. He pointed to pioneering projects such as “Innopolis City” as a model for this approach, while emphasizing the centrality of education as an incubating environment in which values are instilled and trends are created. The future.

In a context related to the future of identity and language in the age of knowledge, Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of the King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language, stressed the necessity of making the issue of the advancement of the Arabic language a public and vital concern by linking it to the social, economic, and media sectors, and building indicators and accurate data to measure its global presence.

He explained that the future of languages ​​is now based entirely on artificial intelligence and computing, reviewing the Academy’s efforts in building huge blogs and digital dictionaries. He stressed that moving Arabic to its deserved global status requires thoughtful planning, solid linguistic policies, and comprehensive institutional work that keeps pace with the summit’s slogan, “Knowledge Markets: Developing Sustainable Societies.”
