Assistant Minister of Housing: Egypt and Oman share a common vision for sustainable development between heritage and modernity

Dr. Abdel-Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing, said that the national goals between Egypt and Oman are similar for sustainable development, as the two countries’ visions 2040 for Oman and 2030 and for Egypt include a common goal, which is the balance between heritage and modernity, which is expressed in the Administrative Capital in Egypt and Sultan Haitham City.

 

Ibrahim added during the “Oman Egypt…Land of Opportunities” conference, which he is organizing. The Sultanate of Oman in Cairo said that developing the real estate system requires seeking new strategic partnerships with our brothers from the Arab countries, especially the Sultanate of Oman, and the two parties began cooperation in 2022 with the signing of a cooperation protocol between the two countries, followed by a number of joint visits.

 

He explained that the primary goal of that cooperation was to stimulate Omani investment in Egypt and support the Sultanate of Oman in achieving its strategic vision by supporting real estate developers and providing consulting expertise. Egyptian projects in the field of urbanization and sustainable development.

 

Ibrahim continued: “We offer investment opportunities in the Administrative Capital, Cairo, the northern coast, and the Red Sea cities, including residential and tourism projects, logistical and industrial services, in addition to searching for partners to manage the projects that are being implemented. He pointed out that Egypt has begun building sustainable cities and adopting smart cities, and the Sultanate of Oman has also embarked on sustainable cities through the city of Sultan Haitham, explaining that a strategic plan is currently being prepared for Khedive and Islamic Cairo and offering investment packages there. To some extent, to attract more foreign investments.
