Al-Jazira beats Al-Ain in direct confrontations…Al-Wasl faces Al-Borka

At 19:30, Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium will be the stage for the “Abu Dhabi Clasico”, which brings together Al Ain and its guest Al Jazira at the end of the eighth round of the ADNOC Professional League. The confrontation comes loaded with promises of excitement that has marked the history of the two teams’ meetings, especially with the abundance of goals and the high level of competition between them over the past seasons.

The six-point difference between the two parties increases the expected excitement, as Al-Zaeem has 19 points, while Pride of Abu Dhabi has 13 points.

What doubles the excitement is that during 32 historic matches between the two sides in the professional league, Al Jazira prevailed by winning 13 matches compared to 12 victories for Al Ain, while seven matches ended in a draw. Al Jazira is also the team that has inflicted the most defeats on Al Ain in the history of its participation in the league (13 losses), and has also scored the largest number of goals against its net in the competition with 56 goals compared to 58 goals for Al Ain.

Kalba × Al-Bataeh

At 16:40, Kalba will host its guest, Al-Bataeh, in a confrontation that appears to be equal in terms of history, as the two teams met six times in the ADNOC Professional League, during which Al-Bataeh won twice, while Kalba won, while three matches ended in a draw.

The “Tigers” enter the confrontation with 11 points, while Al-Bataeh, on the other hand, is going through one of its worst starts in the league, collecting only three points, which is its weakest tally.

Al Wasl × Ajman

Al-Wasl hopes to return to the path of victories, when it hosts Ajman at 16:40 at Zabeel Stadium, in a confrontation in which the homeowners have a clear historical advantage at the expense of their guest, but on paper things may be different, especially since victory may require a lot of diligence to avoid “Volcano” surprises.

The digital indicators are in Al Wasl’s favor, as it has scored 14 points this season, five points more than it achieved in the same period last season. On the other hand, Ajman (nine points) is entering the match, and is on an upward curve, after winning the last two matches away from home, and is seeking to achieve its third victory in a row for the first time in the history of its participation in the league.
