“The Gallant Knight 3” reinforces UAE support for Gaza with Convoy 294

Today, convoy No. 294 of UAE humanitarian aid arrived in the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3 to relieve the Palestinian brothers in the Strip, carrying more than 195 tons of shelter materials and supplies.

The convoy is an extension of the established approach adopted by the UAE to alleviate the suffering of the residents of the Gaza Strip, and an affirmation of its firm humanitarian commitment in the most difficult circumstances.

The convoy carries 2,250 shelter tents transported via 15 trucks, in an urgent response to the harsh conditions that the people of Gaza are experiencing in light of the cold waves and rainfall during the recent period, and the resulting increasing needs for shelter and protection supplies.

The Emirati humanitarian aid team to Gaza in Al-Arish prepared the convoy through the logistics center, where the team works to receive, store and equip aid shipments, ensuring its departure to the Gaza Strip in an organized and continuous manner.

Fahad Saleh Al Harithi, head of the UAE humanitarian aid team to Gaza in Al Arish, confirmed that Convoy No. 294 constitutes an extension of the continuous support operations provided by the UAE within the Gallant Knight 3 initiative, noting that the periodic delivery of aid aims to respond to the increasing humanitarian needs in the Strip, especially in light of the climate conditions that have exacerbated the conditions of the people during the past period.

He explained that the work teams at the logistics center in Al-Arish continue their tasks around the clock to ensure the smooth arrival of aid, through an integrated system that includes reception, storage, processing, and management of the movement of shipments, pointing out that maintaining the regularity of convoys is a top priority to ensure the continued flow of humanitarian support to the residents of the Strip at a time when they need all forms of support.

This convoy comes within the ongoing efforts of Operation Gallant Knight 3, which was launched by the UAE to support the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip via the land and sea bridges, which has contributed since the beginning of the crisis to providing more than 20,000 shelter tents for affected families, in addition to sending continuous convoys of various food, medical and relief supplies, as an embodiment of the UAE’s consistent humanitarian approach to supporting those in need.
