UAE First Division League.. “Pirlo United” hunts “Falcons”

The United team, led by Italian legend Andrea Pirlo, succeeded in regaining the winning tone and beating the Emirates team (Falcons) with a score of 2-0, in the eighth round of the First Division League, which was held at the Dubai Sports City Stadium.
With this result, United raised its score to 11 points in sixth place, while the UAE’s score froze at 13 points in fourth place.
United’s goals were scored by Portuguese Samuel Luis in the 74th minute, and Cameroonian Cedric Nana in the 86th minute.
The City team achieved a valuable victory away from home over Al Hamriyah with a clean goal scored by Irishman Clem Strobridge in the 62nd minute, raising City’s score to 12 points in eighth place, while Al Hamriyah remained at 8 points in ninth place.
Al-Orouba won over Al-Jazira Al-Hamra (3-1) in its first victory this season. Al-Orouba’s goals were scored by Montenegrin Niksa Vujanovic (30), Brazilian Tildiana Guimarães (42), and Mohamed Al-Hammadi (59). While Ghanaian Joseph Amoah (80) scored for Al Jazira Al Hamra. Al-Orouba raised its score to 6 points in 11th place, compared to 5 points for Al-Jazira Al-Hamra in 12th place.
Al-Ettifaq also won over “Majd” with a score of (3-2), achieving its first victories this season. The Lebanese Al-Ettifaq goals were scored by Alaa Mazhar (49), Egyptian Hassan Abdel Salam (77), and Mohamed Al-Saridi (90). While Ali Al Yahyai (13) and Botswana’s Mawlaudi Tlhalevang (90+6) scored for Majd. According to the result, Al-Ettifaq raised its score to 3 points in 15th place, while “Majd’s” score froze at 4 points in penultimate place.
Al-Arabi tied at home with Al-Fujairah (2-2), where Englishman Bennick Afobe scored two goals for Al-Arabi (46 and 68), while Fahd Barot (63) and Frenchman Sander Benbachir (75) scored for Al-Arabi. Al Arabi raised its score to 14 points in second place, while Fujairah’s score became 8 points in tenth place.
