Rodrigo’s “harsh” message to Real Madrid and Brazil fans

Real Madrid star Rodrigo sent a painful message to the Brazilian fans in which he revealed the extent of the damage caused by his serious injury, which will keep him away not only from the Royal Club, but will prevent him from playing with the Brazilian national team in the 2026 World Cup finals.

Rodrigo said on his Instagram account after his big dream evaporated: “I have always feared this injury. Maybe life has been hard on me recently… I don’t know if I deserve this… but what can I complain about? How many wonderful things I have already lived, which I also did not deserve.”

He continued: “A major obstacle has appeared in my life, in my professional career, and it is preventing me from practicing what I love more than anything else for a period of time. I will miss the rest of the season with my team, and the World Cup with my country’s national team, which is a dream that everyone knows how important it is to me, and all I can do is be strong as usual, and this is nothing new.”

He added: “Thank you everyone for the invitations, messages, and love! You are very important to me. Despite the difficulty of this time, I promise not to stop here. I believe that I have many wonderful things to live and bring happiness to everyone who trusts me. See you soon.”

Rodrigo had suffered a rupture in the cruciate ligament in his right knee, while participating in his team’s match against Getafe last Monday, in the Spanish League, which the Royal Club lost 1-0.
