The Dubai Police team is the steeplechase champion in the Ajman Government Sports Tournament

The Dubai Police team won first place in the men’s category in the Steeplechase Championship within the activities of the 2026 Ajman Government Sports Tournament, which concluded its competitions amid an enthusiastic atmosphere that lasted for three days in the men’s and women’s categories.

The Lavish Perfumes team came in second place, and the Ajman Government team came in third place.

In the professional women’s teams category, Dubai Police teams took the top three places, confirming their strong presence and distinguished performance.

In the men’s and women’s singles competitions, Leon Covid won first place in the men’s category, Semen Koktlev came in second place, and Isai Thomas came in third place.

In the junior category under 12 years, Sheikh Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi won first place, and in the category under 16 years (boys), Mohammed bin Ammar Al Nuaimi won first place with a time of 4 minutes, while Al Jala Al Shehhi was crowned first place in the category under 16 years (girls) with a time of 5 minutes.

In the women’s singles category, Shahad Badibis achieved first place, Amal Murad placed second, and Mira Al Falasi ranked third.

For its part, the organizing committee said in a statement today, Thursday: “The competitions were characterized by enthusiasm and competition, as the competitors took on various paths that included challenges of speed, strength and endurance,” adding that “the tournament received wide popularity due to the comprehensive sports experience it provides that combines physical fitness and the spirit of challenge,” noting that “the diversity of the participating groups reflects the success of the tournament in attracting different ages and interests.”
