The Consul General of the State meets with the Head of the Foreign Relations Department in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
ERBIL, 24 November / WAM / His Excellency Ahmed Hassan Al Shehhi, Consul General of the UAE to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, met with His Excellency Safin Mohsen Dizayi, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Regional Government congratulated His Excellency the Consul General of the State, and wished him success in his work tasks, and the development and strengthening of bilateral relations in various fields, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his tasks.
For his part, His Excellency expressed his pride in representing the United Arab Emirates in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, and his keenness to strengthen relations, cooperation and partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Iraq in general and the Iraqi Kurdistan region in particular, in a way that contributes to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between the two countries.
During the meeting, areas of cooperation were reviewed, and ways to develop them in a way that achieves the interests and ambitions of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
