Dubai ranks first in the world in accessibility

Dubai was ranked as the most connected city in the world after topping the world in the “Accessibility of Global Cities” index prepared by the Mozio platform, which specializes in transportation and ground transportation solutions, as part of a study that included the 50 most visited cities in the world. The index measures the ease with which travelers move from major airports to the heart of cities, based on factors related to speed of access, frequency of public transportation, quality of transportation networks, density of services, and cost of transportation.

According to the study, Dubai came at the top of the list after providing one of the fastest and most efficient flights from the airport to the city center. According to the study, the transportation time at Dubai International Airport is estimated at 30 minutes, with an average of only 24 minutes for public transportation, which means that it is possible to move from the baggage claim area to the heart of the city with minimal delay. Public transportation also runs every eight minutes on average, meaning travelers rarely face long waits.

The study indicated that for travelers wishing to stop in Dubai, accommodation in a major center is significantly more budget-friendly. The average price per night in three-star hotels is only 31 pounds sterling, which allows the traveler more budget for the trip to explore the city, as Dubai offers many restaurants and cafes that can be explored once arriving in the city.

Dubai not only saves time, but also provides an economical and comfortable experience for travelers, as the price of a taxi from the airport to the city center ranges between 9 and 11 pounds, which is a competitive cost compared to other major cities such as London, Berlin and Amsterdam.

According to the index, Dubai is the most convenient city for travelers from the first moment their flights land, ahead of Florence, Prague, Malaga and Vienna. Dubai collected the highest overall score of 7.20 points out of 10, becoming the number one city in the world in terms of ease of access and transportation. All of this makes the traveler’s experience upon arrival in Dubai comfortable, economical and smooth, and enhances the emirate’s position as one of the cities most ready to receive visitors, whether for tourism or business.
