4 films in 3 cities.. return "Saudi Movie Nights" To China
The Film Commission continues its international presence by organizing the third edition of "Saudi Movie Nights" In the People’s Republic of China for the second time, during the period from November 28 to December 7, 2025 AD, four Saudi feature films will be shown in three major cities: Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, in a step that reflects the support of talent and the promotion of cultural exchange.
The list of screenings includes each of the films (Hoopal, Salma and the Moon, Abdul, Ambulance), and will be followed by open dialogue sessions for the makers of these Filmsto interact and answer questions from the Chinese public and media, to enhance cultural and creative communication between the two countries.
The screenings are held in a number of the most prominent cinema halls in China, which were carefully chosen due to their central locations and advanced technical equipment that provide an integrated viewing experience.
International presence
A project is being implemented "Saudi Movie Nights" Within the framework of the Film Commission’s ongoing efforts to enhance the presence of Saudi cinema in international markets, and expanding areas of cultural cooperation with cinematic institutions in various countries.
This edition coincides with the Saudi-Chinese Year of Cultural Cooperation, which reflects the depth of relations between the two countries and emphasizes the importance of cultural exchange through the seventh art.
The organization embodies "Saudi Movie Nights" In China, the Film Authority’s vision is to enhance the spread of Saudi cinema globally, reflect the diversity of Saudi stories and the development of the film industry in the Kingdom, highlight local creativity and national talent, and consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a leading cinematic destination that contributes to building bridges of cultural and civilizational communication across the world.
