She explained that the disease is represented by the presence of endometrial cells outside their natural cavity, indicating that they move to the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or the pelvic area, and may rarely reach other organs.

She pointed out that the global infection rate is estimated at about 10% of women, explaining that the similarity of symptoms to other gynecological diseases makes diagnosis a medical challenge that requires community awareness.

She stated that the event includes five specialized awareness corners, starting with definition, diagnosis, and review of treatments, all the way to a consulting corner that includes specialized doctors to provide direct guidance to patients to help them reach the treatment plan.

She concluded by noting that the campaign targets all segments of society, including men, to enhance family support. For injured women, stressing the importance of student initiatives in spreading health culture and improving the quality of life.
