The Prime Minister is following up on plans to develop and plant trees in Greater Cairo

 Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly directed the development of an integrated plan to plant trees on various axes and main roads in Greater Cairo, due to its aesthetic, cultural and environmental impact..

This came during the meeting held by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, to follow up on development and afforestation plans in Greater Cairo, today, Thursday, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities for Technical Affairs, Engineer Mustafa Abdel Wahab, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Development Fund, and consultants Dr. Tarek Sobhi and Dr. Maher Estino.

 

The Prime Minister stressed that this meeting aims to follow up on the executive position of a number of projects currently being conducted within the framework of development and afforestation plans in various regions of Greater Cairo, and to discuss many scenarios for moving forward within the framework of this plan, which aims to preserve the civilized face of the capital and Egyptian cities in proportion to their value. Civilization.

 

Counselor Mohamed Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the meeting discussed the most prominent efforts being made to implement development and afforestation projects in Greater Cairo, create green areas and an outlet for citizens, and develop the beautification and afforestation process in many areas, according to approved principles and the best standards applied in this regard.
